About the Role We are looking for a project manager to help deliver a wide range of community focussed infrastructure projects. The role will join other project managers within our Projects & Engineering Services unit who are instrumental in delivering Council’s $100M capital works program. Reporting to the Team Leader – Building and Structural Projects, the core responsibilities include: • Delivering Council infrastructure by managing an agreed annual portfolio of projects that meet community needs and expectations • Engaging and supervising external consultants in line with the Shire’s delivery framework, design guidelines, procedures, and relevant industry standards • Assuring quality and satisfaction of the relevant objectives/stakeholder needs/legislated requirements About You • A tertiary qualification in civil engineering, project management, or a similar discipline. • Relevant experience based on position banding • A demonstrated ability to weigh up competing demands and risks and make informed decisions. • A continuous improvement mindset and an appreciation for having efficient systems of work that ensure consistency of output.
