Southern Engineering is seeking a Store person/QA to join our team at our Ballarat workshop. Southern Engineering is a parts manufacturing company that supplies laser cut and folded parts to a broad range of manufacturing companies. Reporting to the Production Co-Ordinator, the role will be responsible for: Sorting and checking off parts. Packing jobs and checking them off Quality checking parts and jobs Wrapping and Labelling jobs for dispatch Loading material and Unloading parts. Controlling sheet metal stock and consumables. Parts cleanup and Sanding when needed. Loading and unloading of trucks. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Doing Local Deliveries of completed jobs. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work on your own unsupervised. Self-Motivated. Physically fit and hardworking. The ability to use your initiative. Able to work safely and efficiently. To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following Pre-requisites: Current driver's license. Forklift license is a must. Sheet metal experience is an advantage.
