About the Position This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 34 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. Monday-6.30am-10.00am & 2.30pm-6.00pm Tuesday- 6.30am-9.00am & 2.30pm-6.00pm Wednesday- 6.30am-12.00pm & 2.30pm-6.00pm Thursday- 6.30am-9.00am & 2.30pm-6.00pm Friday- 6.30am-9.00am & 2.30pm-6.00pm With the opportunity to pick up more hours during Vacation Care Your Role as Educational Leader As the Educational Leader at Busy Bees OSHC, you will inspire and guide our team of educators to deliver engaging, leisure-based programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework. Reporting directly to the Nominated Supervisor, you will: Plan, develop, and deliver a dynamic Term-Time Educational Program, as well as vibrant Vacation Care Programs during school holidays. With creative freedom, Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the educational curriculum. Mentor and support educators through reflective practice, professional development, and curriculum planning. Collaborate with children, families, and staff to maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and child-centered environment. Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and National Law and Regulations. Drive innovation, keeping our service at the forefront of best practices in OSHC education. Showcase learning at Busy Bees OSHC through Seesaw and the Service Facebook page. As a responsible person you will step up as the services responsible person in the absence of the nominated supervisor. Assist the Coordinator with the weekly administration tasks. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking an Educational Leader who: Has a minimum 2 years experience in a centre based education and care setting. Preferably Holding but not essential Certificate IV in OSHC / Diploma in OSHC / Diploma in Children's services /or equivalent or Certificate III in Children’s Services. Has experience/ interest in planning and implementing play-based programs for school-aged children. A professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating clear and effective documents while confidently engaging with children, staff, families, and the broader Busy Bees OSHC community. Exhibits strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and inspire a diverse team. Possesses knowledge of the NQF, MTOP Framework, and child development principles. Essential- Holds a current Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis), Food safety Supervisor and Identify and Report Certificate or is willing to obtain these qualifications as soon as possible.
