About the role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced FRP Supervisor to join the team at OSB Group. As our FRP Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality concrete work on both residential and commercial projects across Perth, WA. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a leading construction company and be a key part of their ongoing success. The successful applicant will be given the authority to make independent decisions with regards to formwork methods and job planning. What you'll be doing Supervise and coordinate the work of concrete and formwork crews to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met Planning, ordering and organizing delivery of formwork materials in a timely manner and liaising with yard to use existing materials as much as possible. Successful applicant will have full authority over this aspect and will include yard work organizing and preparing formwork. Along with project manager plan and organize pours for slabs and precast panels. Precast panels will be cast on site or off site at our own yard depending on job requirements. You will be required to be part of the organizing of delivery of panels cast off site. Interpret plans and specifications to direct the work of crews Monitor and maintain site safety, implementing training and corrective actions as needed Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve any issues Assist with the recruitment, training, and performance management of the concrete crew. We encourage the supervisor to build their crew to their needs and requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations in concrete work Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards What we're looking for Significant experience (5 years) as a FRP Supervisor in the construction industry Must have experience in construction methods for our projects, which include precast, ground slabs, suspended slabs and decorative concrete. Tilt panel ticket essential, tilt panel supervisor ticket would be highly valued. Strong understanding of concrete testing, curing, and finishing techniques Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills Ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver high-quality work Commitment to safety and quality standards Relevant construction industry qualifications or certifications What we offer At OSB Group, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
