About the role We are looking for a Full Time Venue Manager to join and lead our team at The Boathouse Shelly Beach. In this role you’ll take the reins of daily operations, driving performance, leading from the front, and ensuring the venue runs seamlessly. You’ll oversee team management, uphold service standards, and deliver an exceptional guest experience, all while keeping the energy high and the operation on point. You will also: Overseeing and managing all people practices as required including recruitment, onboarding, training and development of your team. Lead the team in a positive and effective manner to ensure productivity, motivation and teamwork are always maintained at a high standard; Managing labour, monitoring COGs and operational costs to ensure controllable financials are managed to the maximisation of the business; Ensuring constant and efficient weekly communication between Venue & The Boathouse Group Senior Management; About you To be the perfect addition to The Boathouse Group, you will be an experienced Food & Beverage professional with a passion for service, delivering great guest experience and pushing the highest standards of venue presentation and team culture. Extraordinary attention to detail & a hands-on approach is key for success in this role.
