The Position The Truck Driver / Yard Person is responsible for the delivery of goods to customers and transportation of stock between branches in Goulburn and Braidwood, plus the occasional day trips further afield. You must help maintain the Goulburn Produce and Rural Supplies yard and assist with the loading of customer vehicles. Working 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday, 40hr week with occasional overtime offered. Responsibilities Operating ute, UD truck, semi & forklift to deliver purchased goods Transporting stock between branches in Goulburn & Braidwood Loading customer vehicles in the yard Operating point of sale system & maintain accurate transfer & delivery documentation Ensuring clean & tidy presentation of yard at all times Remaining up to date with industry’s best practices Providing a high level of customer service Ensuring deliveries are being completed using correct company procedure Ensuring company vehicles are kept safe, clean & presentable Maintaining a safe work environment Fulfilling any other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required. Experience, Knowledge and Skills Current HC licence Current forklift licence Experience or qualifications in retail Customer service focused Attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment Time management / organisational skills Ability to take initiative Professional presentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills
