Protectomat is looking for a Production Supervisor that is committed, motivated, professional and courteous, providing quality work. You must be a positive, reliable team player, able to troubleshoot and willing to take on a variety of work. Experience within the automotive accessories industry or a manufacturing and distribution environment is a bonus. Duties include but are not limited to: Plan workforce to ensure required resourcing for production Review orders/schedules to determine work/production specifications and delivery goals Plan production/operations establishing priorities and sequences for efficient operation Coordinate activities with relevant departments to ensure output meets quantity and quality specifications. Review operating reports and data to resolve operational problems to minimise costs and prevent operational delays Work with maintenance staff to resolve equipment faults and to meet operational/production timelines, safety and quality specifications Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems and ensure schedules are met Supervise activities of employees and contractors by assigning tasks/duties and overseeing work performed Communicate work procedures and Company policies to individuals/teams at regular meetings Assist employee/teams in resolving problems and completing work to required standard Requirements: Previous experience in a similar position or industry (desirable) Have a basic level of literacy to read and follow general instructions Basic computer skills required Ability to cope with responsibilities provided by management Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to multitask and manage timeframes Have basic physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual-handling activities MUST be able to pass a pre-employment medical and a Drug & Alcohol Screening.
