Phat Brew Club is a WA-owned independent brewery and hospitality venue based in West Perth. In 2025, we were proud to be named Best Brewery at the Gold Plate Awards . We’re now looking for a Venue Leader to help lead our Venue Experience team and deliver consistently high-quality service on the floor at our new Hillarys venue. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people, service, and guest experience, reporting directly to the Head of Venue Experience & Operations . Rostering of the Venue Experience Team (Hillarys) to ensure suitable coverage and maintaining within agreed wage % - Manages all stock ordering and control and maintains this within reasonable limits to ensure sufficient amounts are always on hand - Responsible for the management and maintenance of all menu items and POS products within Restoke and Square - Assists the Head of Venue Experience and Operations to monitor COGs and complete pricing updates as required - Oversees the management of all functions and Bookings at the Hillarys venue and ensures that the experience is a positive one for all hirers - Supports the Head of Venue Experience and Operations in the delivery and management of events with events up to 350 persons - Overall management and leadership of the Venue Experience Team for the Hillarys venue - Ensure the effective implementation and roll out adequate staff training and product information sessions - Work collaboratively with the PBC Marketing team to create menu designs and layouts, Posters, and marketing materials etc. - Work collaboratively with the brewery team and kitchen crew to ensure cross collaboration and awareness as to what is occurring across the entire venue - Assist the Head of Venue Experience and Operations in the development of budgets and management of financial performance About you Minimum 3 years experience in a similar type venue management role within the hospitality industry A proactive people leader with a passion about providing a quality craft beer and food experience Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of of internal and external stakeholders An approachable leader who understands how to effectively manage large teams to achieve shared goals and vision Has a “can do” attitude Exceptional people management and conflict resolution skills.
