The Role – What You’ll Be Doing As a Trades Assistant, you will work alongside our qualified technicians, primarily supporting floor sanding and refinishing services. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with floor sanding and refinishing projects Preparing job sites (moving furniture, setting up equipment, protecting surfaces) Operating and handling sanding equipment (once trained) Assisting with the preparation and application of finishes under supervision Working with Electrodry technicians performing a range of other services as required Cleaning and maintaining equipment Supporting technicians to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard Providing professional and courteous customer service on site This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in quality workmanship. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate: A strong work ethic and dependable attitude Physical fitness and comfort with manual labour The ability to work effectively within a team Willingness to take direction and learn new skills Attention to detail and pride in completing tasks thoroughly A current Australian manual driver’s licence (preferred) Experience in carpentry, flooring, construction, landscaping, or general labouring is highly regarded, though not essential.
