RN required Sorrento Medical Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in our clinic located in the heart of Sorrento. This role will involve providing high-quality nursing care to our patients, supporting our GPs, and contributing to the efficient operation of our medical practice. Days required are Thursday and Fridays plus leave cover. What you'll be doing Delivering compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients, including administering vaccines, health assessments, and chronic disease management, assisting with minor surgery, wound care, drivers' and employment medicals, spirometry, iron infusions, and more Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining detailed medical records Recalls and Reminders in collaboration with our GPs Assisting with the coordination of patient appointments and flow within the clinic Ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and nursing standards, policies, and procedures Infection control What we're looking for Registered Nurse qualification and current AHPRA registration Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar general practice or primary care nursing role Immunisation certificate and CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work individually and in a team environment Strong clinical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care Proficiency in using Best Practice software is preferred, but not essential A genuine passion for community healthcare and a commitment to continuous professional development What we offer At Sorrento Medical Centre, we are dedicated to creating a positive and supportive workplace where our team thrives.
