Western Work Force are currently looking for an experienced Human Resources Officer for one of our clients, a Guildford based construction company. Your role will be to support the business across all generalist HR functions, with a strong focus on HR policies, procedures, compliance, and workforce support. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, templates, and employment documentation Ensure HR practices align with relevant legislation, awards, and industrial relations requirements Support audits, compliance reporting, and internal HR governance processes Provide advice to managers on HR policy interpretation and implementation Provide day-to-day HR advice to leaders and employees across the business Assist with investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and resolution support Promote a positive workplace culture and consistent employee experience Coordinate onboarding, inductions, probation processes, and employee documentation Liaise with internal stakeholders to support workforce planning needs Support employment contract generation, variations, and employee lifecycle changes Support training coordination, compliance registers, and qualification tracking Skills & Experience Required: Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in a similar HR Officer / HR Generalist role HR qualification (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) is essential Experience within construction, maintenance, or mining environments (mining highly preferred) Experience with BHP, RIO or FMG related projects.
