Hawkesbury Special Care Nursery is seeking passionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Neonatal Service on a permanent full time or part-time basis. Our Special Care Nursery provides high quality, family centred care to neonates from 34 weeks’ gestation, supporting newborns and their families during the early stages of life. The unit is located within the Maternity Services, which welcomes approximately 600–700 births each year, offering a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary environment. What you will bring to the role Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in special care nursery with the completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work. Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills. Demonstrated commitment to professional development. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
