Position Descriptor: The Heights Technical College is a visionary institution that aims to revolutionize technical education in South Australia. The State Government is investing in Technical Colleges that set the standard for excellence in their design, learning environment and delivery of skills-based training for school-enrolled students. The Heights Technical College offers four industry training programs focussing on industries in high demand such as Aeroskills (aviation maintenance), Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Building and Construction and Early Childhood and Education. The college partners with high-profile employers, training providers and higher education partners. What will you do - This position will focus on the delivery of learning that allows students to fulfil the requirements of the industry training programs delivered at the Technical College. The trainer provides current and authentic industry learning activities and coaching that develops the skills and dispositions required by employers in the workplace. - Work in collaboration with the Industry Program Lead to implement and evaluate the curriculum of the Industry Training Programs. -Contribute to the planning, delivery and assessment of industry experiences, career planning, coaching and mentoring. -Provide advice and assistance to support students with industry connections and opportunities in the workplace.
