Find out more about working with us . Who We Are The suburb of Baringa is situated just 7km south west of the Caloundra beach precinct including the iconic Golden, Bullcock and Kings Beaches. The community is growing quickly and is estimated to be home to approximately 50,000 residents in the next 20 years. Baringa State Secondary College opened its doors for the first time in 2021, when Year 7 and 8 students commenced at the college. In 2025, we celebrated our first cohort of foundation students graduating Year 12. Step Into Your Next Chapter Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students. Where requested, prepare all data returns for the Principal. Provide management and engagement strategies including induction activities of new arrivals, and advise on specific academic, social and emotional needs of new arrivals. Monitor students' individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary. Communicate and work with parents, staff, higher education institutes and State Schools Division to develop strategies to improve learning outcomes, student achievements and attendance.
