You will work alongside a number of other Coordinators with the shared purpose of creating a truly good life for the people we support. The Coordinator in our Shared Living Service plays a pivotal role in ensuring we meet the highest standard of care in all of our work alongside people with Autism. In your role, you will manage a number of shared living homes, lead a team of Support Workers, engage with families, community stakeholders, and work closely with the people we support. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for the rights of people with disability to lead the life they choose. To this end, you will work with passion and commitment to overcome barriers and create opportunities for individuals to have a good life. You will oversee staff to ensure they deliver on the highest quality of care and enjoyable life experiences for the people we support. You will lead staff to demonstrate care and consideration in all of their undertakings, and ensure families are actively engaged. As strong collaboration and workplace culture are central to achieving our goals, this is a fully site-based, in-person role, working across our office and designated sites. About You To succeed in this role, you will have a strong commitment to an inclusive community where the worth and dignity of each individual is valued. You will lead by example and not be hesitant in actively guiding any member of the team who falls short of this standard. Essential Requirements Certificate, Diploma or Degree in the Human Services field. Extensive practical experience in the field of Human Services, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and a proven track record of effective service delivery. Experience in leading teams and managing people, overseeing day-to-day operations and client care standards. Proficient in communicating effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Experienced in engaging with and managing relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders, ensuring collaborative partnerships and effective service coordination. Prior hands-on experience in implementing personalized support plans for individuals with disabilities, emphasizing creativity, flexibility, and a person-centred approach to enhance quality of life and independence. Possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s licence (No P Plates) To join our team, you’ll be required to complete the required clearances including a Medical, National Police Clearance and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
