Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role located in Adelaide, SA. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and conducting repairs on diesel engines and associated systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting and resolving mechanical problems, ensuring vehicles and equipment remain in optimal working condition, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The role also involves maintaining documentation for completed work and liaising with team members to ensure efficient operations. Qualifications Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulicsStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExperience with vehicle inspection, general maintenance, and using diagnostic toolsKnowledge of industry-standard safety procedures and regulationsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamRelevant technical certifications or qualifications in diesel mechanics or automotive engineeringPrior experience in a similar diesel mechanic role preferredEffective communication skills to document service records and liaise with team members
