The role of the Reservation Agent is to ensure the highest level of customer service is offered and maintained at all times to all guests throughout the reservation and pre-arrival process. Through the use of effective sales skills you will provide excellent service for Guest and Agent enquiries. You will maintain guest/group accounts and provide helpful information with a high standard of accuracy. YOUR DAY TO DAY Provide seamless and professional service to all guests through email, phone, and in-person interactions, ensuring every communication reflects our Mondrian Brand. Cultivate relationships with guests, especially VIPs, by remembering names and preferences to enhance their experience and create a welcoming atmosphere. Prepare and complete daily arrivals reports, ensuring all future bookings are confirmed with necessary paperwork for smooth invoicing. Assist with Group bookings as required and liaise with other departments to ensure group requirements and special requests are actioned. Maintain an in-depth understanding of all hotel facilities and promotions, utilizing every opportunity to promote offerings and maximize sales through effective communication. Ensure accurate control of guest and hotel accounts, guaranteeing timely posting of charges and reconciliation of any discrepancies as required. ABOUT YOU Ability to resolve guest complaints or issues that arise. Have a strong inventory management knowledge ensure maximum occupancy and yield are achieved.
