The opportunity IDEA Innovative Disability Engagement Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Hamlyn Terrace, NSW. In this casual role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and support to clients with complex needs. Key responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to enrich their quality of life Implement individual support plans and work collaboratively with allied health professionals Advocate for clients' rights and ensure their needs are met with dignity and respect Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational policies and procedures Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery What we're looking for A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker or similar role Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field Proven ability to provide person-centred care and support for clients with complex needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality care Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and relevant legislation and regulations A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle is highly desirable What we offer At IDEA Innovative Disability Engagement Australia, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
