We are actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding and fully supported Plants Product Vertical. In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of projects, allowing you to take ownership and drive innovation. This position offers a diverse and challenge array of responsibilities, requiring a confident and experienced Mechanical Engineer. You will frequently apply first principles to design and develop complex machinery tailored for demanding environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and quality. About the Role Decisively manage your portfolio of current and future projects from proposal sketch to site commissioning. Develop, optimise and verify designs to relevant standards via calculation from first principles & FEA. Engineer bulk material handling and process plant systems, including silos, feeders, screw conveyors, hoppers, chutes, dust handling systems and pneumatic conveying systems. Prepare, review and coordinator P&IDs, PFDs, piping layouts, and GA drawings, ensuring correct equipment, valve, and instrumentation selection and integration. Support valve selection and specification for process, slurry, pneumatic and utility services, in collaboration with process, piping, and controls teams. Provide engineering input and review for API 650 storage tanks, including nozzles, accessories, supports, and vendor compliance to applicable standards. Develop solutions in collaboration with the Design team to meet relevant standards, schedules and manufacturing techniques. Control documents and information from/to clients/projects team relative to your portfolio VDDR. Liaise with clients, sales, management, engineering, design, controls & automation, estimating, aftermarket, procurement, vendors, quality and workshop personnel as required. Help to enhance processes and procedures within the Engineering and Design teams. About You A degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university Thorough understanding of Mechanics Effortless problem solving skills with root cause analysis Ability to make and defend decisions, often with limited information. Desire to travel to site.
