About the Role The primary focus of this role is to conduct internal productivity timings of supported employees, determine work capacity, and prepare evidence and documentation to support formal Supported Wage System (SWS) assessments in collaboration with external wage assessors. This includes observing work tasks across HPA sites, completing timed assessments, accurately recording results, and working closely with supervisors and program teams to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes whilst achieving better work outcomes for our supported employees. A key component of the role is also building strong referral pathways to attract new participants into HPA programs. This involves developing and maintaining relationships with Coordinators of Support, schools, Youth Works, families, employment services, and community partners. The role includes hosting site tours, coordinating work experience and trial days, tracking enquiries and referrals, supporting promotional activities, and working with internal teams to match participants with suitable programs and available capacity. About Our Programs HPA delivers a diverse range of programs that support people with disability to build independence, life skills, and employment pathways, including: PEG Day Program – A structured and engaging day program focused on building life skills and confidence through activities, community participation, and outings Supported Employment options Ausdesigns – Secure document shredding, promotional items, corporate wear, merchandise production, and sewing Kokoda Industries – Commercial woodwork and steel Workshop, pallets, pegs and labouring services Breaking Ground – Gardening and small maintenance work Darwin Accommodation & Support Services (DAS) – providing individualised supports for SIL, accommodation, daily living skills, community access, and skill development About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Knowledge of the Supported Wage System; experience using systems such as Flowlogic, SharePoint, or similar platforms is highly regarded Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a kind, caring, considerate, and compassionate approach Strong ability to build positive relationships, exercise sound judgement, maintain attention to detail, stay organised, and work calmly and professionally with people from diverse backgrounds Experience in disability services, aged care, childcare, supported employment, vocational training, workplace supervision, or another human services environment (highly regarded) Confidence working with people with disability and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team A proactive and organised approach to managing enquiries, referrals, and records Strong administrative skills, including accurate record-keeping, data entry, document preparation, maintaining registers, managing emails, files, and basic reporting Experience in community engagement, stakeholder liaison, or networking, including building referral pathways and hosting site visits or tours (highly regarded) Essential Requirements Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Current National Police Check Current OCHRE Card Australian working rights
