About the role This full-time Rostering officer position is an integral part of the administration team at Better n Beyond, a reliable provider of quality home and community care services in Winnellie, NT. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing efficient staff rosters to ensure the smooth delivery of services to our valued clients. What you'll be doing Liaise with staff to understand availability and schedule preferences Review and approve timesheets to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Develop and maintain comprehensive staff rosters, ensuring appropriate coverage and efficient use of resources Communicate roster changes and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner Assist with the coordination of leave requests and manage staff leave records Provide administrative support to the Operations team as required Contribute to the continuous improvement of rostering processes and procedures What we're looking for Proven experience in a similar rostering or scheduling role, ideally within the community services or healthcare sector Minimum 1-2 years of experience in rostering or scheduling positions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Proficient in using roster management and scheduling software Collaborative approach with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service Knowledge of workplace regulations and SCHADS award conditions would be highly advantageous Valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa required What we offer Competitive salary and superannuation Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Supportive and inclusive team environment Flexible work arrangements and work-life balance initiatives About us Better n Beyond is a trusted provider of quality home and community care services in the Northern Territory.
