The team consists of nurses, social workers, psychologists and occupational therapists. The team operates on a 24/7 rotating roster, based in Wagga, providing virtual support to the surrounding towns. What you’ll be doing The MHECS Clinician is responsible for coordinating and delivering emergency mental health consultations, assessments and support services to persons (including their family, and/or carers) who are experiencing acute mental health crisis in the MLHD. The MHECS Clinician develops a plan to assist, support and guide the emergency department clinicians in 32 hospitals across MLHD in managing risk, medications and plans for ongoing care.
