Position Summary As a vital member of the In-Room Dining team, your primary focus will be on crafting special guest experiences by efficiently delivering orders, amenities, and managing the minibar. You will be an integral part of an enthusiastic team, proud to uphold the highest standards of Capella in curating unforgettable dining experiences for all our guests. The Role Stay attentive and anticipate guests' service needs, forming connections to grasp their preferences and provide personalised service. Be well-versed in menu items and capable of suggesting combinations and upselling alternatives. Support colleagues to ensure adequate coverage and swift guest service. Relay any additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Maintain cleanliness in work areas throughout the day by practising clean-as-you-go procedures. Deliver orders, ensuring that the correct items are provided to set standards. Clear deliveries within the designated time frame. Talent Profile A General Education Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Familiarity with restaurant systems such as Symphony or Seven Rooms. Exceptional communication skills paired with a passion for guest relations. Strong command of written and spoken English.
