About the role Dixon Accountants is seeking an experienced Accountant for a role based just off the Motorway in Nerang, Queensland. In this position, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and taxation services to our diverse client base. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' tax affairs are managed efficiently and compliantly. What you'll be doing Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals and businesses Providing tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimise their tax obligations Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports Conducting tax research and staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation Collaborating with clients to understand their unique financial and tax requirements Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations What we're looking for Degree in Accounting or a related field Minimum 3 years' experience as a professional Accountant Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and compliance requirements Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Proficient in the use of accounting software and tax preparation tools Experience with all aspects of GST, Payroll and Superannuation Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills XERO Certified an advantage What we offer At Dixon Accountants, we are committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment.
