About the role As an Accessory Fitter at TJM Darwin, you’ll get hands-on with some of the most exciting vehicle upgrades out there - think lift kits, bull bars, custom builds - the works! If you love building high-performance 4x4 vehicles, this is the role for you! You’ll be responsible for all aspects of fitment to a wide range of 4WDs, ensuring each vehicle is equipped to handle the toughest terrain – your expertise will help bring every customer's adventure-ready dream to life. Skills & Experience Previous experience in 4x4 accessory fitting or mechanical/auto electrical background (preferred but not essential) Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools confidently Knowledge of 4x4 systems, vehicle modifications, and aftermarket accessories Ability to read and follow fitting instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Understanding of safe workshop practices and commitment to WHS standards High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Valid Australian Driver’s license Benefits Learn and grow with ongoing training (we’ve got your back!)
