Roster: Monday to Friday Reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement Services, Governance & Continuous Improvement, this Contracts & Procurement (C&P) role is suited to a high-performing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven to deliver measurable, technology-enabled improvement. You will bring a strong interest in emerging technologies, including AI and Generative AI, and apply these to drive innovation and efficiency. As part of a dynamic team, you will provide thought leadership in best-practice Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (S2P) processes, applying lean principles to streamline, automate, and optimise systems and workflows. This position is ideal for an experienced Contracts or Category Management professional seeking to transition into a strategic continuous improvement and transformation-focused role. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with C&P leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive best-practice adoption and sustained improvement outcomes.Lead contract and procurement process optimisation, providing guidance on process and system enhancements and automation of manual activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Identify and prioritise technology-enabled improvement opportunities, develop clear improvement roadmaps, and implement solutions.Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of process and system changes, including effective change management to ensure successful adoption.Communicate clearly across all levels of the organisation, including presenting outcomes and recommendations to senior leadership, steering committees, and sponsors.Partner with stakeholders to ensure C&P policies, procedures, and governance artefacts remain current, aligned, and fit for purpose. Qualifications And Experience Experience across S2C and P2P processes, with exposure to enterprise procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, or IvaluaBackground working in large or complex organisations, including procurement or shared services environmentsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and levelsSound analytical judgement with attention to detail and a focus on practical outcomesAbility to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentExperience contributing to change or continuous improvement initiativesProficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Visio or Power BI is an advantageRelevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent practical experience are valuedExposure to mining, heavy industry, or similar sectors is an advantage, but not essential About Us Be part of something big.
