Job Info Location: SHELLHARBOUR, NSW Salary: $60,001 - $80,000 Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Able to read drawings and specifications to determine job requirements; Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock; Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines; Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting; Examining and testing welds for precision, and also defects etc; Finishing products by grinding, and cleaning; Able to weld FluxCore 3G & 4G to AS1554.1 SP or AS2980 standards (or ISO equivalent); Experience with various types of welding and techniques; Ability to problem solve and provide solutions for extraordinary job requirements by clients. Key Requirements: AQF Certificate III or equivalent trade qualification; A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ relevant experience; Excellent work ethic with an attitude of continuous improvement; Eligible to obtain a WA C Class Driver’s License or equivalent; Able to weld FluxCore 3G & 4G to AS1554.1 SP or AS2980 standards (or ISO equivalent); Preference for heavy fabrication experience.
