About the Role Reporting to the GM Commercial and Partnerships, our Fundraising Manager will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the Club's fundraising and philanthropic programs. This role works collaboratively across all departments to drive revenue diversification through major gifts, community fundraising, and events, building sustainable funding streams that strengthen our connection to the Port and the people we represent. We're looking for a strategic thinker who can balance relationship cultivation with tactical campaign execution. What You’ll Do Strategic Leadership Develop and implement a 3-year fundraising and philanthropy strategy aligned to our strategic plan, with clear revenue targets and growth projections Build and manage a donor pipeline from prospect identification through to retention Relationship Management Develop tailored engagement strategies for donor segments including major donors, mid-level donors, and community supporters Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and current major donors, presenting compelling cases for support Design donor experiences that demonstrate impact and recognition Campaign Development & Delivery Design and deliver integrated fundraising campaigns across digital, direct mail, events, and face-to-face channels Establish community fundraising initiatives including peer-to-peer fundraising, workplace giving, and legacy giving programs Plan, coordinate and deliver fundraising events that engage supporters and generate revenue Operational Excellence Maintain CRM database with accurate donor records, interaction tracking, and giving history Prepare monthly fundraising performance reports including revenue tracking, pipeline analysis, and campaign results Ensure compliance with Australian fundraising regulations, taxation requirements, and privacy legislation Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and Commercial teams to develop compelling donor-facing content and leverage existing relationships Why Join Us?
