With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and safety, they specialise in the repair, maintenance, and refurbishment of large-scale industrial wheels and components. Their Mackay branch supports regional operations with a skilled team focused on reliability, efficiency, and high safety standards. What you will be Doing In this role, you will be assisting qualified tradespeople including fitters and welders with the repair and maintenance of industrial wheels and rims. Your duties will include safely operating forklifts to move heavy components, assisting with welding preparation, blasting and painting tasks, and performing general manual labour to support production and maintenance activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained, and following all company and industry safety standards. What you will need Previous experience with power tools Forklift licence and experience operating forklifts safely licence essential Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team Welding experience (highly regarded) Painting experience (desirable) Experience operating blasting equipment (desirable) Commitment to workplace safety standards Whats in it for you?
