Domus Nursery , a wholesale production nursery, near Kalamunda, is seeking a motivated person with a passion for sales and plants to work in the nursery assisting our sales team. Our customers include garden centres, landscapers, local government and Bunnings throughout WA. Duties will include: Reserving stock in the nursery for forward orders. Regular checking of held and general stock in the nursery. Consolidating small batches and ensuring sales team are aware of small quantity batches to sell. Assisting the sales team in a range of duties. Assist in picking labels for orders. The role may also evolve to include: Serving customers by phone/email. Serving walk in customers. Use of computer system for processing orders, printing pricing stickers, checking stock, etc. This Job will suit someone who: Has some knowledge of plant ID, and is keen to learn more. Is physically fit. Comfortable doing a range of routine tasks. Approachable and professional personality. Enjoys spending most of the day outdoors checking on plants, but is also comfortable using a computer sometimes. Enjoys working around plants. Enjoys being active, not just stuck at a desk. Can jump between tasks as priorities dictate. Skills/Experience required: Previous experience working with plants is preferrable, especially the understanding of plant names and ability to identify common plants. Competent using MS Office suite of applications Competent touch typing Self motivated, able to work quickly and efficiently. Must have own transport due to our location away from public transport.
