We have exciting opportunities within our Commercial Services team for individuals with a strong background in administration and experience in managing commercial contracts. In these role, you’ll be part of the City’s Contract Services team, delivering contract administration support to the City’s Contract Managers as an integral part of the centre-led procurement and contracts function. To be successful in this role, you will need: Certificate IV in Contract or Procurement Management or related field. A current unrestricted C class national driver’s licence. Three years relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in Local Government. Well-developed administration skills including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to contribute to the development and implementation of documentation and procedures relating to contract management, with a high level of attention to detail. Understanding of legislative compliance requirements, probity considerations and their relationships with contracting concepts. Sound knowledge and competence in the tender, contract management and administration processes used within Local Government. Well-developed interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills including financial analysis skills. Well-developed ability to influence at all levels and facilitate consensus. Ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and strict confidentiality. Ability to manage and prioritise individual work responsibilities to achieve target outcomes.
