About the role We are holiday apartments in the beautiful Alpine Village of Falls Creek Victoria. We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for this winter season with the possibility of a year-round permanent position. This is a full time seasonal position from April to October. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring our property is presented to the highest standard of cleanliness, organization, and guest readiness. This role is physically demanding and requires an energetic and enthusiastic person. It is a hands-on role where previous experience in a similar role is essential. The ideal candidate The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, a flexible approach to work, a friendly demeanour and a keen eye for detail. You must have the ability to follow instructions and work quickly and efficiently to achieve individual and team goals. A knowledge and implementation of health and safety procedures is a important. You must also have a valid working visa or working rights for Australia. What you'll be doing Cleaning and/or inspecting rooms and public areas to ensure our building meets cleanliness and maintenance standards Train, mentor and support housekeeping casual winter staff to ensure consistency and productivity Oversee the use of cleaning supplies and equipment Report and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure quick resolution Organize weekly housekeeping rosters Ensure adherence to hotel policies, hygiene procedures, and OHS regulations Ensure all WH&S policies and procedures are followed Work effectively with all other departments for smooth operation Assist with the ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment About you Minimum of 2 years' experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation processes and standards Knowledge and implementation of OHS procedures Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards Proficient in using relevant housekeeping software and technology Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holiday Hold a valid working visa or working rights for Australia Why work with us We are a small friendly team in a supportive environment You will live and work in a beautiful Alpine area We offer award rates superannuation We provide training and ongoing development We have flexibility with days and hours across a rotational roster Falls Creek is a great place to work and live.
