About The Role We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Assistant to help bring our ideas to life. Based at The Bento Buzz HQ in Arundel, you’ll work closely with our founder and team to post daily content, execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, social content, email marketing, and in-store promotions. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re organised, creative, and ready to turn ideas into eye-catching visuals, engaging copy, and buzz-worthy campaigns. Key Responsibilities Capturing, scheduling and posting of daily content. Engage with our social media community during business hours, in a way that is aligned with our brand values, across all platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Assist in content and marketing ideas. Bring the ideas - we love creativity. Work closely with our Founder to create, post and respond to content on her behalf. Design graphics and layouts in Canva for ads, emails, and store signage using supplied branding. Coordinate product photography and video (unboxings, lifestyle, reels). Create and schedule EDMs. Support in-store promotions and merchandising for campaign launches. Liaise with suppliers for collaborative promotions (e.g., sampling campaigns). Report on campaign performance and engagement metrics. Education Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred, not required) Experience 3 year digital marketing experience with demonstrated success in social media engagement and community building. Skills Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest) and a passion for community building. Experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite, Klaviyo. Excellent attention to detail and copywriting skills (grammar, captions, tone). Creative eye for colour, design, and product presentation. Mobile phone content creation skills including capturing, editing and posting of high quality content. Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects.
