Position Overview The Disability Support Worker will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals living with disability. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, community participation, and personal development in accordance with their individual support plans. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice, and independence. Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks as required. Support clients to participate in community, social, and recreational activities. Provide transport assistance to appointments and community engagements. Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and documentation in line with organisational policies. Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience in providing support to people with disability. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Commitment to professional conduct, confidentiality, and respect for individual rights. Mandatory Requirements Current NDIS Worker Screening Check. Current First Aid and CPR Certificates. Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification (desirable). Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
