Forever Care Disability Services (FCDS) is seeking experienced and highly competent male Support Workers to provide structured, person-centred supports to a participant located in Eglinton (NOR Perth). This is a high-complexity support role requiring advanced understanding of psychosocial disability, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour support implementation. About the Participant Supports are required for an adult participant with: Psychosocial disability Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) History of behaviours of concern, including past aggression toward staff and community members This role requires confident, emotionally regulated, and professionally grounded support workers who can operate within established Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and NDIS Practice Standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver structured, goal-oriented supports in line with NDIS funding Implement Behaviour Support Plan strategies consistently and safely Apply trauma-informed and person-centred practice at all times Support community participation and daily living skills development Maintain professional documentation and incident reporting Participate in team communication and case reviews Promote safety for the participant, staff, and community Essential Selection Criteria Applicants must demonstrate in their CV and interview: Extensive experience supporting individuals with psychosocial disability Experience managing behaviours of concern in community settings Sound understanding of trauma-informed practice Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards Understanding of restrictive practices and legal/ethical obligations Ability to follow and implement Behaviour Support Plans Emotional regulation and ability to remain calm under pressure Experience working within multidisciplinary teams Mandatory Requirements Current NDIS Worker Screening Check National Police Clearance First Aid & CPR (current) Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle Relevant qualification (Cert III/IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or higher) Full working rights in Australia Employment Details Casual position Job Type: Casual Pay: $36.00 – $39.00 per hour Work Location: In person
