This organisation, which also operates a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), is seeking a passionate, hands-on Trainer & Assessor to deliver the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program on Bathurst Island, located just a short 30-minute flight from Darwin. About the Role As the SEE Trainer & Assessor, you’ll deliver high-quality Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills training under the SEE Program, a government initiative designed to improve the foundational skills of adult learners. You’ll play a vital role in helping participants gain confidence, independence, and greater access to education and employment. You will also ensure training and assessment practices meet compliance requirements under ASQA and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR). Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective training tailored to learner needs Assess competency and provide constructive, supportive feedback Develop learning materials and manage pre-training procedures Complete necessary administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness Monitor student progress and contribute to continuous program improvement About You You’re passionate about adult education and thrive in remote community settings. You have the skills to connect with Aboriginal learners and support them on their journey in a culturally respectful and inclusive way. You will have: TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent/higher qualification in adult education) Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal adults with low literacy and numeracy levels Up-to-date knowledge and skills in adult education and the VET sector Strong communication and adaptability in remote or cross-cultural settings Why Join This Opportunity?
