Shifts available: Morning Afternoon Night Sleepover (Please indicate your availability in your application.) This role involves supporting participants with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities in home and community settings. Applicants must be comfortable working in homes where pets (including dogs) are present. Key Responsibilities Participant Support Deliver supports in accordance with NDIS plans and organisational care plans Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support daily living tasks (meal preparation, domestic duties, shopping) Facilitate community access and participation Support skill development and independence Clinical and Medication Administer medication in line with training and policy Follow manual handling and infection control procedures Documentation and Compliance Complete accurate progress notes and incident reports Maintain confidentiality and privacy compliance Adhere to NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators Report risks, incidents, or safeguarding concerns promptly Teamwork Liaise with families, carers, allied health professionals and case managers Attend team meetings and training as required Key Selection Criteria Essential Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent OR relevant industry experience Equivalent experience includes any care experience in disability, aged care, or related support services Demonstrated experience supporting people with disability Minimum 6 months experience supporting people with disability Minimum 6 months experience in any care experience including disability, aged care, or related support services Current NDIS Worker Screening Check First Aid and CPR Current Australian Driver Licence Valid working rights in Australia Desirable Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours Medication Administration Certificate Manual Handling Training Physical and Environmental Requirements Ability to perform manual handling tasks Comfortable working in private homes Willingness to work in environments where pets are present Compliance and Legislative Requirements Employees must comply with: NDIS Code of Conduct Work Health and Safety Act (WA) Privacy Act 1988 Organisational Policies and Procedures Genuine Occupational Requirement This role is designated female only due to participant personal care needs.
