Job Type: Full-time Location: Manly Vale NSW 2093 Work Location: In person Position - Landscape Gardener Company - Fast Creative Gardens Pty Ltd T/A Northern Beaches Creative Gardens (NBCG) Pay: AU$76,515.00 – AU$78,000.00 per year (excluding superannuation) Job Description An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Landscape Gardener to join Fast Creative Gardens Pty Ltd T/A Northern Beaches Creative Gardens (NBCG). Established in 1990, NBCG is a well-known and reputable garden maintenance and landscaping provider servicing Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Lower North Shore and Eastern Suburbs. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week, based in Manly Vale, NSW 2093. Tasks include but are not limited to: Forge and nurture relationships with clients and other NBCG team members through effective communication while delivering landscaping services. Interpret landscape plans and instructions, select suitable materials, and assist in scheduling landscape works. Install softscape and hardscape elements for each individual project. Design and construct outdoor features such as pathways, paved areas, retaining walls, fencing, garden beds and pergolas. Prepare for planting and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, hedges and other plants as required. Establish lawn areas through turf installation, grass seeding and surface preparation. Identify plants and weeds and recognise plant pests and diseases. Repair, maintain and conduct testing of irrigation systems. Provide technical advice for irrigation systems. Skills and Knowledge Required Proven experience as a Landscape Gardener or in a similar landscaping role. Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety requirements. Ability to interpret landscape plans and specifications. Knowledge of suitable material selection for landscaping works. Demonstrated experience in softscape and hardscape installation. Knowledge of plant and weed identification, plant pests and diseases. Experience in irrigation system repair, maintenance and testing. Ability to schedule works and use job management systems. Strong communication skills for client and team coordination. Education and Experience Requirements AQF Certificate IV in Landscaping or a related field, or at least two years of relevant full-time work experience in lieu of formal qualifications. At least one year of relevant landscaping experience. Current Full Driver Licence.
