The Opportunity We have a 9‑month Fixed Term Contract opportunity for a Rebate Analyst to join our ANZ Finance team. The Rebate Analyst role will be responsible for the overall administration of rebate payments to iNova customers. This includes calculating and validating the rebate payments, coordinating credits/payments, obtaining approvals, as well as providing management summary level reporting and reconciliation with strong controls, clear audit trails, and insight for Gross-to-Net forecasting. Facilitate audit queries of the rebates and submission of the various usage reports. Key accountabilities include: Trade Spend Accruals Preparation of Trade spend accrual reporting for Product Placement, Co-op and Rebates monthly/quarterly across all BU’s Prepare various schedules and analyses required to determine trade spend accruals required Effective financial management of the rebate process including required accruals and accurate, timely reporting of data internally and externally Accruals are reviewed and prepared on a timely and accurate basis Rebates Administration Review, interpret and replicate terms and conditions of Contracts into the rebate administration processing system (SAP) Process rebate payments – review and analyze rebate reports and liaise with the business managers to ensure that the conditions are met Timely reconciliation and settled all rebates agreement, maintain a clean ageing and auditable documentation Trade Spend Management Work with National/Key Account Manager and Field Sales to ensure all trade spend is accurately and timely reported Work with Accounting & Finance to ensure reporting alignment Monitor all trade spend prior period adjustments Identify and report variances to trade spend budget and forecasts Data Management Review of data feeds between various internal and external systems (Wholesalers reports, SAP) for data integrity and accuracy Maintain contract master data (products, rates, effective dates) and implement amendments to reflect the current agreement Troubleshoot and resolve when necessary Reporting & Audits Prepare various ad hoc reports requested by Business Units and partners related to trade spend Provide data and analytical support for Gross-to-Net true-ups on a quarterly basis Produce rebate reports and trend analysis at the brand and customer level Compile, review and distribute claim materials for Participations for all audit requests and facilitate audit queries of the rebates About You To be successful in this role you will possess. Accounting degree or equivalent work experience (Essential) Minimum 3 years experience in financial analysis or relevant experience (Essential) Trade Spend/Rebates Management in Consumer Health or FMCG experience (Essential) PC Skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Business Objects) – Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
