Joyce Mechanical Services is growing — and we’re looking for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team across various Bowen Basin mine sites. Based in Mackay, Joyce Mechanical is a well-established business specialising in maintenance, rebuilds, and field service support for heavy mobile plant in mining and civil operations. We’ve built our reputation on quality workmanship, reliability, and a supportive, hands-on team culture. What You’ll Be Doing Diagnostics, servicing and repairs on heavy mobile plant and diesel engines Preventative maintenance and machine inspections Troubleshooting and fault finding across mechanical systems Working safely and collaboratively with site personnel Maintaining high compliance and safety standards What You’ll Bring Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter (or equivalent) Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills Experience working on diesel engines and heavy equipment Ability to work independently and within a team CBM & S11 (advantageous but not essential) What’s On Offer $75 per hour super paid on all hours 7:7 rotating day/night roster Limited dayshift-only roles available Paid DIDO travel Mine-spec ute Paid breaks Overtime available (onsite or in our Mackay workshop) Coal Long Service Leave Salary sacrificing options Embedded contractor roles or floating roster flexibility Why Joyce Mechanical?
