How you’ll make an impact The Lead Product Manager supports the Product Lead, Everyday Banking and Overdrafts, to drive the growth, uptake and active usage of AMP Bank’s deposit, transaction, overdraft and offset products across both the L&E and GO divisions. The role is responsible for defining, optimising and managing product design and pricing to balance customer value and shareholder outcomes. This includes ensuring that savings, transaction (including offset) and overdraft products are aligned to the broader Customer Value Proposition (CVP), appeal to target customer segments, and deliver sustainable funding through strong customer adoption and engagement. You’ll make an impact by: Align product strategy to customer value by partnering with the Product Lead to ensure deposit, transaction and overdraft products are optimised for target segments (SMSF, commercial, mini‑business, intermediaries and retail) and aligned to the broader CVP. Drive customer engagement and relationship longevity by increasing account usage and feature adoption to grow balances and deepen primary banking relationships. Maximise financial performance and returns through active management of overdraft facilities, pricing, fees, limits and product mix to optimise revenue, ROC, P&L and balance sheet outcomes. Deliver disciplined financial and risk outcomes by forecasting and realising benefits across financial, non‑financial and credit metrics, while ensuring compliance with risk appetite and regulatory obligations. Enable customer and operational excellence through customer‑led product design, robust performance analysis and close collaboration with Marketing, Operations and Customer teams to execute high‑quality product initiatives. What you will bring to the team 5 plus years’ experience in banking or financial services product management, with strong commercial accountability across deposit, transaction or lending products. Demonstrated pricing and commercial optimisation expertise, including margin management, cost optimisation, balance sheet efficiency and return on capital (ROC). Proven experience simplifying and rationalising product portfolios to reduce complexity, manage costs and improve customer and financial outcomes. Highly analytical and data‑driven, with the ability to generate insights, build forecasts and automate reporting to inform pricing, investment and performance decisions. Strong stakeholder influence and decision‑making capability, able to work autonomously and partner effectively across Product, Finance, Risk, Operations and Marketing. Proactive, decisive and delivery‑focused, able to anticipate issues, prioritise effectively and drive outcomes within agreed timeframes, supported by advanced Excel capability.
