Description We currently have an opportunity for a Cleaning Manager (Cleaning SME) to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management play a key role in strengthening the quality, consistency and performance of our cleaning operations across diverse, high‑profile environments. Reporting to the Contract Director – Soft FM Services, you'll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Provide technical leadership and governance across all cleaning services, ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and chemical management standards. Oversee cleaning team capability, including competency, training, inductions and ongoing operational support. Lead quality assurance through audits, performance monitoring, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Support the mobilisation and transition of sites, including validation of scopes, rosters, equipment, chemicals and readiness for Day 1 operations. Drive innovation and best practice by standardising cleaning methodologies, enhancing efficiency and uplifting presentation standards. What You’ll Bring Proven experience managing or governing cleaning services within large, multi‑site, customer‑facing environments such as retail, commercial or mixed‑use facilities. Strong understanding of cleaning standards, periodic works, floorcare systems and the operational needs of high‑traffic public spaces. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to advise, influence and build trusted operational relationships. A calm, solutions‑focused approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality service delivery. Relevant cleaning operations, infection control or WHS qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Cleaning Operations).
