They are known for delivering high-quality craftsmanship and precise installations on complex projects and are expanding their team to support continued project demand. About The Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to fabricate and/or install structural steel components including stairways, frames, and platforms used in commercial construction projects. Reporting directly to the Supervisor some of your responsibilities will include: Ensure all work complies with project specifications, QA standards, and safety procedures Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation plans Fabricate, weld, and assemble structural steel components to specification Measure, cut, repair, and modify steel components safely and efficiently Install steel structures on commercial construction sites where required Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding to professional standards Two positions are available, including one workshop-based role and one site-based role across Melbourne projects . About You The successful candidate will have: Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Boilermaker within the steel or construction industry Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and meeting project deadlines Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical plans Experience working with structural steel fabrication and installation Trade qualification in Boilermaking or equivalent experience White Card and valid Australian Driver’s Licence Tickets such as Rigging, EWP, Forklift, or Boom Lift will be highly regarded.
