•Business Development Manager •Oil & Gas / Mining •Perth WA •Market Leader Our client is a market leader in the supply and delivery of valve products to the Oil & Gas & Resources sectors across Perth WA. They are an international market leader with a fantastic reputation and are currently seeking an additional Business Development Manager who has Oil & Gas experience. Due to ongoing demand within the Oil & Gas division we are seeking a Business Development Manager who has a solid background having worked within a Service & Sales capacity with major Oil & Gas clients ideally within the Perth WA locality. The role will be working on an account managed basis managing a major Oil & Gas accounts to assist in the effective delivery of appropriate solutions inline with projects and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage and coordinate all sales , technical queries, business development and administration of key accounts To increase sales through various direct and in-direct methods whilst at all times Maintaining profit contributions Develop and Maintain strong business relationships with all key stake-holders Develop marketing and sales strategies to target identified potential clients Provide statistical, development and sales reports to senior management Pro-actively negotiate long term contracts for various products and services, conduct regular client meetings and service reviews Working very closely with production planning, ensuring that all client requirements can be met within allocated timeframes Provide regular client contact and handle any technical issues or relevant queries Maintaining and developing the customer database, ensuring the accuracy of all information that is entered Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and assist in formulating new sales plans and objectives to ensure customer awareness of new products and services Essential skills required: Proven experience in a Business Development/Account Manager role Demonstrated knowledge of the oil and gas industry Engineering knowledge with a strong technical aptitude Sound knowledge of estimating software Competent with MS Office applications including spread sheets Excellent written and verbal communication skills Sound knowledge of workshop practices Professional attitude with a strong business acumen Excellent relationship building skills Articulate and excellent time management skills Remuneration : Salaries will be based on skills and experience however candidates can expect to receive a salary in the region of $130,000 - $150,000 Incentive Plan.
