Senior Hydraulic Fitter Location: Dandenong South, VIC Reports to: Branch Manager Employment Type: Full Time TRS Resourcing is seeking a reliable and motivated Senior Hydraulic Fitter to join our highly skilled team in Dandenong South. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality assembly, maintenance and repair services across hydraulic, pneumatic, hose, and related equipment. What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Hydraulic Fitter, you will: Modify, rework and test new hydraulic components to meet customer-specific requirements Service and maintain hydraulic and mechanical equipment Perform machining and welding tasks Manufacture hoses and tubing Diagnose, troubleshoot and report on equipment following teardown and inspection Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics Work independently and provide guidance to other team members Provide on-site hydraulic support to local customers Maintain accurate records of stock, deliveries and inventory What We’re Looking For: To succeed in this role, you will have: Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Mechanical Fitter Cert III or equivalent) Full Australian working rights with no restrictions A current Forklift Licence (ideally) A current Driver's Licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Hydraulic Technician Strong understanding of workshop and industrial health & safety practices Ability to interpret detailed work instructions and technical documentation Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills A proactive approach, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively Willingness to travel to remote sites and work overtime when required Why Join TRS Resourcing?
