About the role Explorex Caravans are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Wood Machinists to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements, including correct PPE use in accordance with Australian Standards Set up and operate woodworking machinery including panel saws, CNC routers, edge banders, drills, and sanders Cut, shape and machine timber, plywood, MDF, laminates, and lightweight composite materials Read and interpret technical drawings, production sheets, and cutting lists Assemble cabinetry, wall panels, internal framing and joinery components for caravans Ensure components meet quality standards and production tolerances Conduct routine quality checks and identify material defects Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S principles Work collaboratively with production teams to meet daily output targets What we're looking for Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Wood Machinist or similar role within cabinetmaking, joinery, caravan, RV, or modular manufacturing Certificate III in Wood Machining, Cabinet Making, or equivalent trade qualification Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools Knowledge of laminates, lightweight panels and composite materials preferred High attention to detail and quality workmanship Physically fit and capable of lifting materials up to 25kg Reliable, punctual and safety-focused Why Join Us?
