About our Role Join the Barminco team as a Charge Up Operator and play a key role in our underground mining operations with opportunities available at multiple sites throughout Western Australia. In this role you will safely load and manage explosives in drilled headings and stopes to prepare blasts in accordance with blast designs, procedures, and safety regulations. What will your day to day look like? Carry out development and production charging activities. Safely and efficiently handle, transport and store explosives and blasting agents. Implement site blasting Prepare blast holes in line with site standards to minimise misfires and optimise explosives use. Our ideal candidate background includes Previous experience as an underground mining Charge Up Operator. Valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences, including an Australian recognised Shotfirer’s Licence and Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC).
