About the role I-MED Radiology is seeking two Data Engineer’s to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms that enable access to high-quality, reliable data across the organisation. Reporting to the Data and Integrations Manager, this role will be a key member of the IT Services team responsible for implementing best-practice data engineering standards, ensuring data security and governance, and delivering robust technical solutions that support I-MED’s clinical, operational and commercial decision-making. You’ll work closely with a broad range of stakeholders across business units, including IT Managers, Operations, Commercial, Marketing and external partners, to continuously improve data infrastructure, tooling and processes. Key responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable, high-performing data pipelines and platforms Develop automated data ingestion, transformation and loading processes Optimise pipelines for performance, reliability and cost efficiency Implement monitoring, alerting and lifecycle management for data workflows Contribute to data architecture and modelling aligned with business requirements Ensure compliance with I-MED security policies and governance frameworks Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, clinicians and IT peers Diagnose and resolve data pipeline issues and drive continuous improvement Contribute to shared engineering standards, documentation and reusable components About you Tertiary qualification in a relevant or related field Experience with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) data stack and related technologies Proficiency in Python and SQL Strong understanding of data ingestion patterns, modelling and platform architectures Experience working with healthcare data, integration standards (HL7, DICOM) and healthcare integration engines Knowledge of software engineering best practices and DevOps principles Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Why I-MED?
