Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for a 4 week turnaround project commencing May 2026. The shutdown will be supporting maintenance and turnaround works on critical gas infrastructure. This role will involve long shutdown shifts with bus-in/bus-out transport from Brisbane and requires technicians with strong safety awareness and experience working in high-risk environments. What's in it for you? $80/hr flat casual rate 12.5-13 hour shifts Bus-in / Bus-out from Brisbane (paid travel time) Fortnightly pay cycle Camp accommodation provided FR PPE and safety equipment supplied Work on a major gas facility turnaround Project Details Project Duration: Approx. 22-24 days Project Dates: May 2026 Paid Bus out and Bus in Paid Hours: 12.5-13 hour days Key safety focus areas include driving safety, isolations/de-energisation, working at heights and fatigue management. What is needed to be considered? QLD Electrical Licence Cert III or IV Instrumentation EEHA Certification (issued within last 5 years) Driver's Licence (C Class minimum) LVR/CPR (within 12 months) Working at Heights Gas Test Atmospheres Australian Birth Certificate or Passport Highly regarded: EWP or other HRWL tickets 4WD Driver Training Candidates must be able to complete pre-mobilisation training, site inductions and medical requirements.
