Human Resources Business Partner Sydney CBD-based | Regular travel to regional NSW We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused Human Resources Business Partner to join a well-established Australian brand known for its commitment to craftsmanship, quality and local manufacturing. This role plays a key part in shaping the organisation’s people strategy while partnering closely with leaders to foster a high-performing, engaged and values-driven workplace. The position provides both strategic and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle and acts as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on people-related matters. Based in Sydney CBD, the role works closely with teams across the business, including regular travel to a regional NSW to support operational leaders and maintain strong alignment across corporate and production environments. What You’ll Be Doing: Partnering with leaders across the business to support, coach and develop effective people leadership practices. Acting as the primary HR contact for employee lifecycle matters including recruitment, onboarding, development and retention. Advising the Executive Leadership Team on workforce planning, talent management and organisational development initiatives. Managing employee relations matters including performance management, conflict resolution, investigations and disciplinary processes. Developing and implementing HR programs and policies that enhance engagement, performance and workplace culture. Championing performance management and career development conversations across the organisation. Leading organisational change initiatives, process improvements and culture-building programs. Utilising HR data and analytics to inform people strategy and measure the impact of HR initiatives. Developing ER/IR frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with Australian industrial relations legislation and modern awards. Supporting safety, wellbeing and compliance across the organisation. What You’ll Bring: Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline. Proven experience in HR business partnering within complex organisational environments. Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and contemporary HR practices. Demonstrated ability to align people strategies with broader organisational objectives. Confidence in influencing, challenging thinking and contributing to strategic initiatives. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels. High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential matters. Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
